Topic: Coyote sighting

Getting to be quite common, but a coyote was on Marietta Drive this morning about 8:30 a.m.   Was eating something in high weeds, but very visible.  Some pedestrians passed by and it just backed off a little bit.  Not very shy at all.  I got a lot of pictures of it.

The legend is REAL!!  My Mother in Law and myself were driving down O'Shaughnessy at 11 am this morning, and he/she crossed RIGHT in front of us!!  Good thing I wasnt speeding!!  It was SOOO cute!

I have seen one on O'Shaunessy several times.  I have heard a group yipping at night coming from Glen Park Canyon, so maybe it's a mother with pups.
