Precinct 2727 - less than 250 Registered voters

I received a letter from the department of elections yesterday stating that there are less than 250 registered voters in Precinct 2727, so those who are registered will be voting by mail.  That of itself is not an issue - I've voted by mail for a very long time.

What was a bit of a concern is that there were less than 250 registered voters.

I see on the precinct map that 2727 is fairly small, and I'm not sure how many dwellings are in it - so it might be an area that can easily fall below that 250.

While I sometimes get tired of political games, graft, and greed -- I do continue to believe it is important for individuals to exercise the right to participate in the political process and vote.  Therefore, I hope the low registration level is not due to malaise.
